Dancing in the Street: ODC’s 50+ Anniversary Summer Block Party

ODC invites neighbors from their Mission District home and members of the Bay Area dance and movement communities to join them in celebrating ODC’s 50+ anniversary at a festive block party on Sunday, July 31st from 12-4 pm, concluding ODC’s Summer Sampler season at ODC Theater. The day will feature a free performance of KT Nelson’s ‘truly miraculous’ Path of Miracles by ODC/Dance, as well as works by ODC’s youth and teen program and dance artists affiliated with the ODC Theater. As a Home Company of ODC Theater, RAWdance will be performing at the block party with a remix of work from this year’s YBG ChoreoFest.

Come sample a range of ongoing dance and fitness classes, suited to all abilities and ages, individuals and whole families. Meet and experience the food and drink of the neighborhood vendors and learn about services provided by fellow organizations and businesses that also call the area around 17th and Shotwell home.
