re:framed, RAWdance’s 2012 Home Season

re:framed features three world premieres and one repertory work making its theatrical premiere. In the experimental new work, Double Exposure, Bay Area luminaries Joe Goode (Joe Goode Performance Group), KT Nelson (ODC), Ann Carlson (Stanford University) and Shinichi and Dana Iova-Koga (Inkboat) will each create a duet for Co-Artistic Directors Ryan T. Smith and Wendy Rein. Moody, theatrical new trio, Burn In, puts a contemporary twist on stark film noir lighting and Rorschach imagery. 66 Measures, a cheeky sextet, brings a burst of energy to the program. And The Beauty Project (2009), which premiered in a storefront at the Westfield San Francisco Centre mall, will be reimagined for the stage.
